A prestigious map of the Kingdom of Bohemia by Matthaeus Merian, one of the most prominent 17th-century cartographers and engravers. This fine copper engraving, enriched with detailed hand-colouring, provides a meticulous view of the country at the time — depicting regions, towns, rivers, and mountain ranges. The composition is finished with a decorative cartouche titled "Bohemia" and the coats of arms of the Imperial Eagle and the Bohemian Lion in the corners.
